Music video thoughts
I knew that the first prototype I made for my music video back in January was not reflective of the type of music video that I actually wanted to make. I didn't want to have any random shaky shots of the sky or some random street or anything, I had already made a video just like that last year during lockdown and I hated it. I want to make a video that actually features someone, and has lip syncing and is cheesy and silly and fun. Of course, we are still in lockdown and COVID-19 is very much still an issue, so achieving this isn't easy. But I've made some decisions.
I have been in touch with my friend who lives in Coventry and I will journey up to see her to film my video with her. Of course, there are a lot of safety regulations I will have to adhere to in order for us both to remain safe during this process. That's why I have created a risk assessment that I will ensure to follow when I film with her. I will also do a COVID test before and after I go, and I will shelter in my house for several days to ensure I don't have any symptoms and I reduce the chances of spreading or catching the virus.
Ultimately, this is a risk, but I want to make sure I can create the best music video I can that fits my goals as a creator.
